Asiye Kay had her original fashion training and sensibility development in Istanbul. Working in retail from a young age, she began to cultivate her instinct for style and design, focusing primarily on an eclectic array of European clientele. She worked her way through college, graduating from the University of Ankara with a degree in organizational psychology, and went on to a successful career in business consulting before coming to the United States in 1998.
Today she applies the organizational concepts that she learned in school with her highly developed eye for fashion. She started Asiye’s Boutique on the heart of the Guilford Green in 2004. Since expanding to Madison in 2005, Asiye’s has continued to be the premier destination for women’s fashion along the Shoreline.
Asiye frequently travels to shows in New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Paris and Istanbul and also produces her own designs. She has an unparalleled eye for up-and-coming designers and a unique ability to work with her clients to develop their own personal sense of style. Her exceptional understanding of what is most flattering on each woman individually makes Asiye’s the Shoreline’s hottest spot when it comes to fashion!
Asiye has applied Manhattan-style window dressing to make her stores highly attractive additions to the downtown retail areas in Guilford and Madison. The business contributes to the community through its employment of local staff, training of young high school and college students who aspire to careers in fashion and fashion merchandising and through financial and in-kind contributions to local special and educational and charity events. The stores are open 360 days per year so Asiye has had to develop significant managerial and organizational talent.

Tracey has a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her understanding of design structure, lines and silhouettes factors heavily into our inventory choices. She has a vision when she works with a client and will work with your style, sensibilities and budget to ensure you leave loving the way you look.
