2011 Fall-Winter Fashion Trends

Earlier this Fall, when I was purchasing our 2011 Fall-Winter collection, my goal was to choose simpler, more nostalgic and tailored clothes that brought elegance back to our closets. I took a step back from shiny beads, bright colors, tight, skinny pants and structureless tops.

I wanted to let our fashion reflect nature's own vibrancy, pulling from the dazzling hues of the Autumn leaves. Smoky shades of green, different tones of mustard, reds and burgundies, gray clouds, plums (and of course classic black). These hot tones, together with very in soft whites and creams, are the foundation of our Fall-Winter collection. Soft, flowing fabrics will be featured in our stores. Buttery cashmeres, highest quality wools. Fuzzy scarves, perfectly tailored coats. Everything for you to look fantastic and keep cozy! Besides the arrival of new, sexy jackets, winter coat trends remain pretty classic  far th season. Peacoats that inspire a look f class and tradition. Trench coats that elegantly accentuate your figure never go out of style. Th are waist-defining and may be the perfect finishing piece for n winter outfit. Put a deep colored flower broach on the neckline of your coat; fluff a scarf around your neck in French style. Show your confidence and a bit flirt with a chunky necklace on top of a fitted turtleneck. Sport a sophisticated sex appeal with red sole shoes under flair slacks. Be comfortable yet hip with an animal print thin belt over your fuzzy sweater dress.

The idea is to let your fashion choices reflect your personality. And like all great things, fashion too has a sense of humor. Add that humor to your clothing without fear. Stand out from the crow in a way that's both stylish, flattering and uniquely your own.

I will be traveling to Paris next week to choose even more defined, expressive, confident clothes and accessories for you to color your confidence. I can't wait to share my finds and help you develop you're your own personal style when I get back!
